Job Description

Role Overview:

As the General Manager, Learning and Leadership Development, you will drive the learning and development initiatives across the group, responsible for designing, implementing and evaluating comprehensive learning programs that enhance the leadership capabilities and skills of our employees. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to identify learning needs, develop effective learning strategies and foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the learning and leadership development strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Design and deliver leadership development programs, workshops, and initiatives tailored to different levels of management and leadership within the organization.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and department heads to assess learning needs and identify skill gaps across the organization.
  • Partner with external vendors and subject matter experts to source, develop, and deliver high-quality learning content and resources.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs through the analysis of key metrics and feedback mechanisms, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure the efficient delivery and tracking of learning initiatives and compliance training.
  • Provide coaching and support to leaders and managers to facilitate their development and promote a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in learning and leadership development, incorporating innovative approaches to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate with regional learning teams to ensure consistency and alignment of learning initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in corporate learning and leadership development roles, preferably within a multinational or complex organizational environment.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing leadership development programs and initiatives that drive organizational performance and employee engagement.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver results within established timelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and other learning technologies.
