Job Description

1. Operational Leadership & Governance

  • Provide strategic oversight of daily operations across all business functions
  • Translate corporate objectives into clear operational plans and ensure execution across departments
  • Establish, implement, and continuously improve operational policies, SOPs, and governance frameworks
  • Ensure organizational alignment with business priorities and operational standards

2. Performance & KPI Management

  • Define and cascade KPIs across all departments in alignment with corporate objectives
  • Monitor organizational performance through regular reporting, dashboards, and reviews
  • Conduct periodic business and performance reviews with department heads
  • Identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions to ensure targets are met

3. Stakeholder & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage department heads to ensure effective team performance
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration and alignment across sales, operations, marketing, and project teams
  • Act as an escalation point for operational and people-related matters
  • Promote a culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement

4. Project & Service Delivery Oversight

  • Ensure consistent and high-quality execution of events and exhibitions in line with client expectations
  • Oversee resource allocation, timelines, and delivery standards across projects
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to mitigate risks and resolve operational challenges

5. Financial & Strategic Support

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance management
  • Monitor cost structures and drive operational efficiency initiatives
  • Contribute to strategic planning, business growth, and organizational scalability

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Minimum 8-12 years of experience, with at least 3-5 years in a senior management role
  • Prior experience in the events and/or exhibitions industry is essential
  • Strong expertise in HR operations, performance management, and organizational development
  • Demonstrated ability to drive operational discipline and KPI performance across multiple teams
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making capabilities
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in managing multi-functional teams within a fast-paced, project-based environment
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems, KPI dashboards, and operational reporting tools
  • Proven track record in improving organizational structure and performance outcomes
