Overview
Our client is a fast-growing regional platform managing a diversified portfolio of retail and real estate assets across Asia. We are conducting a confidential search for a General Manager to lead the Singapore business driving commercial growth, operational excellence, and superior customer experience across multiple sites.
The ideal candidate is a highly strategic, performance-driven leader with strong business acumen and a proven record in managing large-scale, customer-centric operations. You must be adept at leading cross-functional teams, leveraging data to guide decisions, and delivering measurable business results in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee P&L ownership and overall business performance across Singapore operations.
- Lead multi-site and multi-store management, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and execute strategies to drive commercial growth, cost optimization, and operational excellence.
- Utilize data and analytics to monitor KPIs, identify improvement areas, and guide strategic decisions.
- Lead and inspire cross-functional teams across operations, sales, marketing, finance, and HR, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
- Drive a customer-centric culture that enhances brand reputation and service delivery.
- Partner with regional leadership to align Singapore operations with group strategy and expansion plans.
- Ensure adherence to corporate policies, financial discipline, and local regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or related discipline; MBA would be a plus.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in senior operations or general management roles within retail, F&B, hospitality, or real estate sectors.
- Proven experience managing large teams and multi-site operations with full P&L accountability.
- Strong business acumen, commercial mindset, and ability to translate strategy into execution.
- Data-driven leadership style with experience managing KPIs, budgets, and performance metrics.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Regional exposure and experience in cross-border operations is a strong plus.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in other Asian languages advantageous.
