Job Summary
Join COSL's finance team as a General Ledger Accountant, responsible for managing full sets of accounts, preparing reports and forecasts, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with IFRS, SFRS, and internal policies.
Responsibilities
- Manage full sets of accounts to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with accounting standards
- Prepare management and statutory reports, forecasts, and reconciliations to support strategic decision-making
- Review divisional reports and accounting entries to maintain data integrity and accuracy
- Oversee the asset register and coordinate audit documentation to facilitate smooth audit processes
- Consolidate financial data from six CNA entities and submit comprehensive monthly reports to the Regional Finance Team
- Coordinate corporate secretary matters with the audit firm to ensure regulatory compliance
- Perform other ad hoc duties to support the finance team's objectives and operational needs
Required competencies and certifications
- Degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and Singapore FRS
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience working in the Oil Rig industry, providing relevant sector-specific accounting expertise
