Our client is a leading Japanese F&B corporation with 35+ brands and 300+ locations worldwide. Their flagship brand is a pioneer in premium conveyor-belt sushi known for market-fresh ingredients, in-house preparation by skilled chefs, and energetic hospitality. With approximately 50 overseas outlets across Asia, they are opening their first Singapore restaurant in June 2026.

The Role

Our client is seeking a versatile and proactive individual to serve as General Affairs & Executive Assistant for their Singapore operations. This multifaceted role bridges back-office administration with on-the-ground operational support, working closely with Japanese executive management.

What You'll Do

Corporate Administration:

Banking procedures, account management, and liaison with financial institutions

Document preparation and correspondence (government, regulatory, corporate)

Bookkeeping support and coordination with external accountants

General affairs: office/store admin, vendor management

HR & recruitment support: work pass applications, onboarding, payroll coordination

Singapore regulatory compliance (MOM, IRAS, ACRA)

Executive Assistant & Operations Support:

Bilingual communication support between Japanese executives and local stakeholders (staff, vendors, government agencies) this role requires Japanese proficiency as it involves daily translation, interpretation, and reporting to Japan HQ

On-site support during restaurant setup, launch, and daily operations

Coordination and reporting with Japan headquarters

Must-Have:

Proficiency in both English and Japanese (spoken & written) as this role involves daily translation, interpretation, and reporting between Japan headquarters and local stakeholders including staff, vendors, and government agencies

Strong communication skills ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders including Japanese executives, local team, vendors, and regulatory bodies

A hands-on, adaptable mindset willingness to work on-site (including at the restaurant) and take on a broad range of tasks

Nice-to-Have:

Experience in administration, general affairs, or executive assistant roles

F&B or hospitality industry experience

Knowledge of Singapore corporate compliance (MOM, IRAS, ACRA)

Basic accounting or bookkeeping knowledge

Experience with Japanese companies or cross-cultural environments
