Gas / CDA / Process Vacuum (PV) System Engineer, primarily responsible for the on-site supervision, interface coordination, and execution support of bulk gas, specialty gas, Clean Dry Air (CDA), and process vacuum systems for high-tech manufacturing facilities. Candidates with experience in high-tech facility construction are highly preferred, with solid knowledge of clean piping system design and installation, system safety requirements, site management, integration of testing and commissioning schedules, and effective cross-disciplinary interface coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site supervision and coordination for Gas, CDA, and PV system installation works in semiconductor fabrication facilities
- Monitor installation of bulk gas piping, specialty gas lines, CDA piping, PV ducting/piping, valves, panels, and related equipment to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Able to read and interpret Gas / CDA / PV drawings, P&IDs, isometrics, and technical documentation to support effective site execution.
- Coordinate with on-site interface teams to ensure Gas, CDA, and PV system systems are properly aligned with construction progress and equipment installation schedules
- Supervise piping works in compliance with cleanliness and safety requirements, including material traceability, leak-tight construction, and system cleanliness management, and support pressure testing, leak testing, purging, flushing, passivation, and commissioning activities.
- Support integration of field instrumentation with Gas, CDA, and PV systems, including interface coordination with system vendors and integrators
- Identify and report site issues related to workmanship, safety, design discrepancies, or system interfaces, and support corrective actions
- Participate in site inspections, system handovers, and coordination meetings with Clients, consultants, and subcontractors
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of site experience in Gas, CDA, PV, or utility systems for semiconductor fabs, high-tech facilities, or industrial construction projects.
- Degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Environmental Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience in on-site supervision of clean piping and utility system installations
- Able to read and interpret P&IDs, gas and utility system drawings, isometric drawings, and related technical drawings.
- Familiar with construction sequencing and site coordination, including subcontractor supervision and clean piping practices with leak-tight and safety-critical requirements.
- Able to work independently on site, and coordinate effectively with project teams, contractors, system vendors, and Clients
- Willing to work in a site-based and shift-based environment, as required by the project.
- Willing to take on One Year Contract, with potential of renewal.
