Electrical System Engineer responsible for the on-site supervision, interface coordination, and execution support of electrical systems for high-tech manufacturing facilities. Candidates with experience in high-tech facility construction are highly preferred, with a solid understanding of electrical system design and installation, site management, integration of testing and commissioning schedules, and effective cross-disciplinary interface coordination
Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site supervision and coordination for electrical system installation works in semiconductor fabrication facilities.
- Monitor electrical construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
- Able to read and interpret electrical drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications to support effective site execution and issue resolution.
- Coordinate with on-site interface teams to ensure electrical works are properly aligned with construction progress and equipment installation schedules
- Supervise and support installation of power systems, including HV/LV distribution, transformers, UPS, generators, grounding, and lightning protection systems.
- Support testing, commissioning, and energization activities, including site readiness and interface coordination with vendors and utility providers.
- Identify and report site issues related to workmanship, safety, design discrepancies, or system interfaces, and support corrective actions.
- Participate in site inspections, system handovers, and coordination meetings with Clients, consultants, and subcontractors
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of site experience in electrical works for semiconductor fabs, high-tech facilities, or industrial construction projects.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience in on-site supervision of electrical installations
- Able to read and interpret Electrical-related drawings.
- Familiar with construction sequencing, site coordination, and subcontractor management.
- Able to work independently on site, and coordinate effectively with project teams, subcontractors, and Clients
- Able to communicate effectively with site teams, subcontractors, Clients, and authorities.
- Willing to take on ONE YEAR CONTRACT, subject to renewal.
