Join one of the world's most iconic garden destinations through the Gardens by the Bay Apprenticeship Programme (GAP) — a unique, full time, one-year immersive programme designed to develop the next generation of horticulturists.
Whether you are a fresh graduate or a mid-career professional seeking a meaningful career switch, GAP offers an opportunity to work at the intersection of horticulture, creativity, and visitor experience.
Be part of the team behind Gardens by the Bay's signature floral displays and conservatories, where tropical, sub-tropical and temperate plants are brought together in ways not typically possible in Singapore's outdoor environment.
As a GAP apprentice, you will undergo a structured and intensive development journey, combining classroom learning, hands-on training, and real project experience across multiple domains:
What sets this programme apart is the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in world-class conservatories and iconic floral displays, supported by structured learning and mentorship from experienced horticulturists. Apprentices will work with diverse and rare plant collections in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same, while building a clear pathway towards a purposeful and rewarding career in horticulture.
High-performing apprentices may be considered for contract or permanent roles with Gardens by the Bay upon completion.

We welcome applicants from all disciplines, including those without prior horticulture experience.
