Plant Nursery Manager
Salary: SG$3.3K per month
Location: Singapore
We are looking for a Plant Nursery Manager to join our flower and plant business. This role is ideal for someone with strong plant knowledge, hands on nursery experience, and the ability to manage daily operations smoothly.
You will be responsible for maintaining plant health and quality, overseeing nursery operations, managing stock, and ensuring plants are well cared for and presented to a high standard.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily nursery operations
- Manage plant care, including watering, pruning, fertilising, pest control, and maintenance
- Monitor plant health and ensure all plants meet quality standards
- Organise nursery layout, cleanliness, and presentation
- Manage inventory, stock movement, and incoming plant deliveries
- Coordinate plant sourcing and replenishment with suppliers
- Supervise and train staff on plant care and handling
- Support customer service and sales with plant recommendations and care advice
- Ensure smooth workflow across plant preparation, storage, and display
- Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environment
Requirements
- Experience in plant care, nursery operations, landscaping, floristry, or a related field
- Good knowledge of indoor and outdoor plants and common plant care practices
- Responsible, hands on, and able to work independently
- Good organisational and operational skills
- Able to manage staff and maintain standards
- Comfortable in a fast paced working environment
- Physically fit and able to handle plants, pots, and nursery supplies
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
