Job Summary
We are looking for a Games Operations Manager (IC) to drive the performance and success of our live games. This role is focused on hands-on execution and ownership of game operations, including live events, monetization strategies, and player engagement initiatives.
As an individual contributor, you will work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Data, and Customer Support teams to optimize game performance, improve player experience, and achieve business targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute end-to-end live operations for assigned games, including event planning, scheduling, and in-game content updates.
- Monitor and analyze game performance metrics (DAU, retention, ARPU, conversion, etc.) to identify opportunities for growth.
- Design and optimize live events, promotions, and monetization strategies to drive engagement and revenue.
- Collaborate with Product and Development teams to ensure smooth content releases and feature rollouts.
- Work closely with data teams to derive actionable insights and implement data-driven improvements.
- Partner with Marketing/UA teams to align in-game activities with campaign strategies.
- Identify and troubleshoot operational issues, ensuring high-quality player experience.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking and stay updated on industry trends to inform strategy.
- Manage and optimize in-game economies and reward systems.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in game operations, live ops, or product operations (mobile/free-to-play preferred)
- Strong understanding of game KPIs and player lifecycle management
- Proven experience in designing and executing live events and monetization features
- Highly data-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities independently
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
- Familiarity with live ops tools, analytics platforms, and A/B testing is a plus
