As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering modern digital products that power citizen services and platforms. You will work across the entire technology stack to build solutions that are technically excellent, user-focused, and impactful at scale. This role requires deep hands-on expertise in modern web technologies (React, Node.js, AWS), strong familiarity with Agile environments, and experience working with agencies to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure full-stack applications that address real user needs in environments.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, business analysts, and engineers to translate functional requirements into elegant, maintainable technical solutions.
- Write clean, well-structured, and well-tested code across the frontend, backend, and infrastructure layers.
- Take ownership of features from conception to deployment, including ongoing monitoring and support.
- Contribute to technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and help define engineering best practices.
- Participate actively in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Drive the adoption of modern DevOps practices, including containerization, infrastructure as code, and continuous integration/delivery.
- Explore and integrate Gen-AI tools and LLM APIs to enhance user experiences and system capabilities where relevant.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of professional experience in full stack engineering roles.
- Experience working with agencies
- Proven experience in Agile and UX development environments with iterative delivery.
- Hands-on experience in AWS cloud environments.
- Strong proficiency in React (TypeScript) and Node.js for building modern web applications.
- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL or DynamoDB.
- Familiar with AWS and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiar with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI or similar) and modern development workflows.
- Solid understanding of software architecture principles, system design, and building resilient distributed systems.
- Demonstrated ability to tackle complex problems with creative, pragmatic solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to take ownership, follow through on commitments, and deliver in high-stakes environments.
