Overview
A global financial market infrastructure provider is seeking an experienced
FX execution trader / sales professional to cover institutional hedge fund clients. The role focuses on delivering market insights, executing trades, and maintaining strong relationships with liquidity providers and institutional clients across both developed and emerging FX markets.
The firm connects institutional market participants to global liquidity and data solutions, supporting price discovery, trading, and post-trade workflows across financial and commodities markets.
Role Overview
This position will focus on servicing hedge fund clients by providing
FX market insights, trade execution, and idea generation across spot, forwards, swaps, and FX options. The successful candidate will operate within the Asian trading hours and help clients navigate fast-moving macro-driven markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide real-time macro analysis of FX markets, with particular focus on drivers during Asian trading hours
- Cover FX cash products (spot, forwards, swaps) and FX options (vanilla and exotics)
- Deliver clear, actionable market insights and trading ideas to institutional clients
- Monitor market developments and provide timely updates during volatile market conditions
- Execute trades efficiently while managing liquidity provider relationships
- Maintain close engagement with hedge fund clients and support them across the full trade lifecycle
Required Experience & Skills
- 1-3+ years of experience in FX trading or client-facing roles (e.g., bank, hedge fund, broker, or corporate treasury)
- Strong knowledge of FX cash products and options, including pricing and risk considerations
- Understanding of macro drivers and technical analysis affecting developed and emerging FX markets
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure trading environments
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with institutional and hedge fund clients
- Degree in Finance, Economics, or related discipline preferred
