Role OverviewWe are looking for someone to drive fundraising and investor relations initiatives across Tembusu Partners platform, including for funds managed by Tembusu Partners and portfolio companies. This would include fundraising for Moringa Ventures and its portfolio companies in the deep tech space..
This role will lead capital formation efforts, manage relationships with Limited Partners (LPs), and shape how the firm engages institutional investors, family offices, and strategic partners. The position requires both strategic oversight and hands-on execution, working closely with leadership across both Tembusu Partners and Moringa Ventures.
Key ResponsibilitiesFundraising & Capital Formation
- Lead end-to-end fundraising processes across Tembusu Partners strategies
- Develop and articulate fund narratives, positioning, and investment theses
- Build and manage a pipeline of LPs including institutional investors, family offices, HNWI, corporates, and strategic partners
- Drive investor outreach, meetings, and closing processes across multiple geographies
Investor Relations
- Serve as a key point of contact for LPs across the firm's funds and platforms
- Maintain long-term relationships with existing investors, supporting transparency and continuity
- Oversee the development of investor communications including pitch materials, fund updates, and reporting
- Ensure consistent and credible communication of performance, risks, and portfolio developments
Platform Support (Moringa Ventures)
- Support fundraising efforts specific to Moringa Ventures deep tech venture builder model
- Translate deep tech investment strategies into clear, investor-ready narratives
- Work closely with the Moringa Ventures team to position opportunities, co-investments, and portfolio exposure to LPs
- Help educate investors on timelines, risk profiles, and capital requirements unique to deep tech
Strategic Positioning & Market Development
- Track market trends across venture capital, private equity, and LP allocation strategies
- Advise leadership on fundraising strategy, investor segmentation, and capital planning
- Represent the firm in investor meetings and selected industry engagements
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with investment, finance, and platform teams to ensure alignment in messaging and reporting
- Contribute to building institutional processes across fundraising, IR, and compliance
- Support cross-platform initiatives between Tembusu Partners and Moringa Ventures where relevant
Requirements- 5+ years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or fundraising
- Proven track record in raising capital from LPs
- Strong understanding of both private equity and venture dynamics
- Experience managing LP relationships across the full lifecycle (fundraising to reporting to re-ups)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex strategies into clear investor narratives
- Ability to operate across multiple strategies and stakeholders within a platform structure
- Existing LP network in Asia and/or globally is highly preferred
