About Singapore Golf Association (SGA):

The Singapore Golf Association (SGA) is the national governing body for golf in Singapore. Our mission is to promote and develop the sport of golf in the country.

Job Description:

The Commercial Partnerships Manager will work closely with the CEO to support the growth of partnerships, sponsorships and fundraising efforts across the Singapore Golf Association.

This role is focused on building momentum, identifying opportunities, shaping proposals, and driving follow-through, so that ideas and conversations translate into meaningful partnerships over time.

It is a hands-on role that sits at the centre of SGA's commercial efforts, supporting both day-to-day execution and the longer-term development of a more structured partnerships function.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Fundraising and Sponsorship Strategy:

  • Develop and execute an annual fundraising and sponsorship plan that aligns with the SGA's goals and initiatives.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential sponsors, donors, and partners within the golfing community and beyond.
  • Research and pursue grant opportunities, including government grants and funding sources, to support the SGA's programmes and initiatives.


2) Partnership Development

  • Support the identification and development of new partnership opportunities aligned with SGA's programmes, events and broader initiatives
  • Assist in outreach and engagement efforts, including preparing materials and coordinating meetings
  • Build and maintain a clear view of ongoing conversations and opportunities

3) Proposals & Presentations

  • Develop clear, well-crafted decks and proposals that articulate SGA's value and impact
  • Work closely with the CEO to translate ideas and discussions into structured partnership opportunities
  • Continuously refine materials so that they are consistent, compelling and easy to build on over time
  • Support the progression of discussions from initial engagement through to agreement
  • Prepare supporting materials for meetings and negotiations
  • Ensure timely and consistent follow-up across all active opportunities

4) Partnership Management

  • Work with internal teams to ensure delivery of partnership commitments
  • Support communication with partners, including updates and reporting where required
  • Contribute to renewal discussions and ongoing relationship development

5) Systems & Organization

  • Maintain an organized and up-to-date pipeline of all partnership activities
  • Support the development of templates, materials and internal processes to improve efficiency
  • Help build a more structured and sustainable approach to partnerships over time

What We Are Looking For:

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in partnerships, sponsorship, business development or related roles
  • Strong writing and presentation skills, with the ability to develop clear and compelling materials
  • Good organizational discipline and attention to detail, especially in managing multiple ongoing conversations
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with direct exposure to senior stakeholders
  • Proactive, reliable, and able to follow through consistently
