Fund Operations / Middle Office, Asset Management (buyside)

Our client is a regional asset management with multi-billionAUM, they focus on equities investment and their approach is long only,fundamental and value investment. Astheir business continues to grow, they are looking for a Senior Analyst/Manager, Fund Operations and the position is based in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

. Cover trade operations, manage end-to-end trade booking,settlement and reconciliation

. Liaise with brokers and custodians banks toresolve trade discrepancies

. Conduct stock and position reconciliations,identify and resolve trade breaks

. Monitor corporate action events and assessimpact on fund positions

. Perform daily cash reconciliations across fundaccounts and custodians

. Execute FX trades to meet fund cash flowrequirements

. Support portfolio managers during placement oftrades with application support involving FIX protocol

. Liaise with fund administrators to review fundaccounting

. Participate in operational workflows automationand improve efficiency

. Other ad-hoc fund operations duties whennecessary

Key requirements

. Bachelor's degree in finance or engineering orother disciplines

. At least 5 years of fund operations experiencein asset management or fund industry

. Strong fund operations/trade operations/middleoffice technical experience

. Detailed-minded, motivated, organized andmulti-tasking

. Positive mindset, analytical, problem-solvingskills

. Good communication skills, ability to coordinatewith different stakeholders

. Programming knowledge eg Python is an advantage
