Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Fund Accountant to join their fund accounting team. The successful candidate will have strong experience across hedge fund accounting, NAV production and review, financial reporting and fund operations, ideally gained from both a fund administrator and an in-house fund house / asset management environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end hedge fund accounting and NAV calculation/review.
- Review P&L, cash, positions, accruals, fees and reconciliations.
- Handle accounting for investment products including equities, derivatives, fixed income and FX.
- Liaise with fund administrators, custodians, auditors and internal stakeholders.
- Support financial reporting, audits, process improvements and junior team oversight.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant fund accounting experience, with strong hedge fund exposure.
- Prior experience with a Fund Administrator highly preferred.
- In-house experience with a Hedge Fund / Asset Manager / Fund House is a strong advantage.
- Strong knowledge of NAV, fund accounting, reconciliations and investment products.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline; professional qualification is a plus.
