Functional Business Analyst - SDLC & Data Analyst

Description

We are seeking a Functional Business Analyst - SDLC & Data Analyst to join our team in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analyzing business requirements and translating them into actionable project deliverables. This role requires a blend of analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements Management

·      Collaborate with Business Unit Specialists to elicit, review, and validate business requirements

·      Perform impact assessments and analyze the to-be business and operational processes based on agreed requirements

• Define detailed functional and non-functional requirements aligned with business objectives
• Monitor and manage risks / issues related to requirements and scope creep
• Perform impact assessments and estimations for project change requests

Functional Design & Solution Alignment

·      Transition requirements to System Analysts, ensuring clarity and completeness.

• Maintain traceability of functional specification to business requirements

Testing

• Review test plan and functional test scope prepared by testing team
• Support SIT and UAT, including defect prioritisation, tracking and resolution

Skills and Qualifications

• Between 8-10 years of experience in business analysis, with a strong track record in delivering finance-related projects
• Proficient in data management and financial systems
• Knowledgeable in accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Skilled in MS Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and reporting
• Experienced in change management and project management fundamentals
• Strong team player with leadership skills, able to drive collaboration and resolve complex issues
