Functional Business Analyst, Credit (Banking, 1-year renewable contract)

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a Functional Business Analyst supporting projects related to credit origination and early credit warning systems
• Analyse current business processes to identify AI-driven improvement opportunities
• Collaborate with business sponsors, product managers, data scientists, and technology teams to translate business needs into solutions
• Review and validate vendor deliverables to ensure proper governance and quality standards
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
• Apply knowledge of: Associative data modellingPredictive analyticsText analyticsClassification techniquesData exploration and summarisation
• Develop dashboards and visualisations to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders
• Ensure AI solution implementation and realisation in line with project plans
• Enforce governance controls, including transition from human-in-the-loop to automated (human-out-of-the-loop) processes
• Identify and drive opportunities to tune and optimise AI models to improve accuracy and productivity

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in banking/financial services industry
• Strong understanding of wholesale banking domain, including: Customer onboarding and servicingData marts and data ecosystems
• Experience in corporate credit origination or related areas is advantageous
• Solid understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
• Basic technical knowledge in: Web applicationsAPIs Databases SQL Data visualisation and reporting tools
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Good team player with a positive and proactive mindset
