Job Description

Role Overview

You'll work closely with the creative and marketing team to plan, shoot, and edit content for brands under Custory. This includes short-form social content, campaign videos, interviews, behind-the-scenes coverage, lifestyle shoots, and brand storytelling projects.

This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, creative, organised, and excited to grow in a fast-paced creative environment.

Responsibilities

Videography & Production

  • Independently plan and execute on-site shoots confidently from setup to wrap-up
  • Operate professional cameras, lenses, lighting, audio, and production equipment
  • Capture high-quality content across interviews, lifestyle shoots, brand campaigns, events, behind-the-scenes, and short-form social media content
  • Ensure footage aligns with the creative direction, storytelling goals, and brand positioning
  • Coordinate basic shoot logistics and preparation before production days

Editing & Post-Production

  • Edit short-form and long-form content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and digital campaigns
  • Add subtitles, music, transitions, colour correction, sound balancing, and motion elements where needed
  • Optimise edits for engagement, pacing, storytelling, and platform performance
  • Manage revisions and deliver final exports in required formats and deadlines

Creative Collaboration

  • Work closely with the creative and strategy team on concepts, storyboards, and campaign direction
  • Contribute creative ideas, visual references, and content trends
  • Maintain strong visual consistency and quality across all client and internal projects

Equipment & Workflow

  • Comfortable handling and maintaining professional filming equipment
  • Able to use personal filming/editing equipment when required for projects
  • Organised in file management, footage backup, and production workflows

Requirements

  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent editing software
  • Strong understanding of lighting, framing, sound, and cinematography
  • Able to shoot using cameras/iPhones depending on project needs
  • Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and aesthetics
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced shoot environments
  • Organised, responsible, and able to manage timelines well
  • Bonus if you have experience with motion graphics, photography, or social media content strategy
