FULL-TIME RETAIL ASSOCIATE (ANIME MERCHANDISE) /BUGIS PLUS

Job Description
Echo Goods is seeking a reliable Full-Time Retail Associate to support daily operations at our anime & pop-culture merchandise kiosk in Bugis+.
Key duties include:
. Providing professional and friendly customer service
. Operating POS systems accurately (cashiering, refunds, daily closing)
. Stock management: receiving goods, stock-taking, replenishment, SKU categorisation
. Maintaining store cleanliness, organisation and visual merchandising standards
. Assisting with product launches, weekly restocking and inventory checks
. Managing basic customer communication channels (e.g., Instagram/Telegram/WhatsApp groups)
. Supporting merchandising and display activities across various IP lines
. Performing general operational and administrative tasks as required

Requirements
. Diploma / Polytechnic / University graduate
. Strong interest in anime / Japanese pop culture IP
. Reliable, responsible, organised and detail-oriented
. Able to categorise merchandise by IP / character line / product type
. Good communication skills with a positive service mindset
. Comfortable working independently during evening shifts
. Able to work weekends and public holidays based on roster

Preferred (not mandatory):
. 1 year and above retail experience (anime goods, hobby stores, collectible shops, lifestyle retail, etc.)
. Experience with doujin/event booths, online merch operations, or fan community management
. Familiarity with stock-heavy environments and SKU organisation
. Basic design/content creation skills (Canva/PS)

Work Schedule
. 4 Evening Shifts (2pm-10pm) + 1 Morning Shift (10am-3pm) 4.5-day work week
. 2 fixed rest days per week (36 hours/week)

Salary & Benefits

. Salary during probation (first 3 months): SGD 1,800 - 2,300

. Salary upon confirmation: SGD 2,000 - 2,500 depending on experience and capability
