Job Summary
As an AI Engineer, you will collaborate with product and engineering teams to build, test, and enhance AI-powered features for our platform. This role suits candidates passionate about problem-solving, Generative AI, and applying AI technologies to practical product use cases.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance AI-powered features to improve the smart learning platform's functionality and user engagement.
- Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) to enable prompting, content generation, question analysis, and automated feedback mechanisms.
- Build and maintain backend services and APIs that support AI functionalities and ensure system reliability.
- Process and manage structured and unstructured data to enable AI product features and improve data-driven insights.
- Test AI outputs rigorously to improve accuracy, consistency, and overall user experience.
- Conduct model evaluation, prompt testing, and result verification to optimize AI performance.
- Troubleshoot AI workflow issues and propose actionable improvements to enhance system efficiency.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate product ideas into scalable technical solutions
- Write clean, maintainable code and produce timely technical documentation to support development and maintenance.
- Participate actively in technical discussions, testing phases, and continuous product improvement initiatives.
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficient programming skills, preferably in JavaScript and Python, to develop and maintain AI features.
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle, APIs, databases, and backend systems to support AI integration.
- Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills to independently implement and iterate AI solutions.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to testing, reviewing, and refining AI outputs for quality assurance.
- Ability to work independently, learn new technologies quickly, and adapt to evolving project requirements.
- Effective communication skills and a responsible work attitude to collaborate within a small, agile team.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience with Large Language Models, prompt engineering, embeddings, or retrieval-augmented generation techniques
- Familiarity with Machine Learning, deep learning frameworks, or AI-related project development
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines, testing practices, or deployment tools to support scalable AI solutions
- Experience with vector databases, search systems, or advanced data processing methods
- Interest in Mathematics, logical reasoning, learning systems, or adaptive AI systems applied to education technology
- Previous experience working in startups or fast-paced environments focused on technical product development
