Position: Full-Time Primary / Secondary Math & Science Tutor
Salary: $3,000 - $4,200/month (Based on Experience + Performance Bonuses)
Work Arrangement: Long-Term Replacement / Full-Time Ongoing Manpower Need
Hours:
. Weekdays: 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM / 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
. Weekends: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

TutorJohn is a fast-growing tuition brand with 3 branches across Singapore - two in Choa Chu Kang and one in Tampines. We provide English, Math, Science, and Chinese lessons and focus strongly on building student confidence through clear teaching systems.

We are hiring a Full-Time Math & Science Tutor who is comfortable teaching Primary and Secondary students, with a focus on delivering strong academic support in both subjects.

Your Key Responsibilities

Teach English & Math to Primary / Secondary students
. Conduct lessons aligned to the latest MOE syllabus
. Support student improvement in:
English (writing + comprehension)
Math (concept mastery + problem solving)
. Teach up to 3 classes/day depending on schedule needs

Student Progress & Parent Confidence
. Run short assessments and identify learning gaps
. Adjust teaching strategy based on student needs and performance trends
. Build confidence and consistency in student learning progress

Operational Support
. Lesson preparation, resources, scheduling support
. Assist in smooth day-to-day centre operations

Leadership Growth Opportunities
. Work closely with the team and John
. Potential progression pathway for strong performers

Who We're Looking For

Diploma/Degree holders (Education-related fields a plus)
Preferably 1+ year teaching experience (fresh grads welcome)
Strong fundamentals in English & Math at Primary / Secondary level
Confident classroom control + clear explanation skills
Responsible, consistent, and committed to student outcomes
Able to commit long-term and support ongoing manpower needs
