Role & Responsibilities
As a Full-Time English Tutor at QE, you will:
- Teach IGCSE, IB (SL/HL), and/or MYP English Language & Literature in small group and 1-on-1 settings
- Provide guidance on syllabus coverage, essay writing, comprehension, oral presentations, and exam techniques
- Conduct timed practices, mock assessments, and deliver targeted feedback
- Create engaging and effective lesson materials tailored to individual student needs
- Track student progress and communicate regularly with parents or the academic team
- Contribute to curriculum development and resource building
Requirements
We are looking for applicants who are:
- Fluent in written and spoken English, with a strong grasp of English literature and academic writing
- Passionate about education and student mentorship
- Confident teaching both individual and group classes
- Highly organised and able to create high-quality, digitised teaching resources
- Committed to teaching in-person in Singapore
Preferred qualifications:
- Prior experience teaching IB, IGCSE, or MYP English
- Fresh IB or A-Level graduates with exceptional English results are welcome to apply

Work Schedule
- 5-day work week (4 weekdays + 1 weekend)
- Weekdays: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM
- Weekends: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM (Timings are negotiable)
Remuneration & Benefits
- Salary: $5,000 - $8,000/month (commensurate with experience e.g. IB Examiner/Ex School Teacher)
