Full Time Choreographer

The Nightclub Choreographer is responsible for creating, teaching, and directing dance performances that enhance the club's entertainment experience and brand identity. This role involves working closely with dancers, DJs, performers, and management to deliver high-energy, visually engaging routines suited to a nightlife environment, while maintaining professionalism and compliance with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Design and choreograph dance routines tailored to the nightclub's music style, theme, and audience

Train, rehearse, and coach dancers to ensure consistency, timing, and performance quality

Adapt choreography for different events, guest DJs, promotions, and themed nights

Collaborate with DJs, stage managers, lighting, and sound teams to synchronize performances

Oversee stage formations, transitions, and overall show flow during live performances

Maintain performance standards, discipline, and professionalism among performers

Update choreography regularly to keep performances fresh and engaging

Ensure all performances comply with Singapore laws, licensing requirements, and venue guidelines

Assist in auditions and selection of dancers when required

Requirements & Qualifications

Proven experience as a choreographer, preferably in nightlife, stage, or commercial dance settings

Strong knowledge of modern dance styles relevant to club environments (e.g., hip-hop, commercial, freestyle, jazz fusion)

Ability to work late-night hours, weekends, and public holidays

Strong leadership, communication, and rehearsal management skills

High level of creativity with attention to detail

Physically fit and able to demonstrate choreography

Understanding of professional conduct and workplace boundaries

Preferred Skills

Experience working in nightclubs, events, or live entertainment venues

Ability to adapt choreography to dancers of varying skill levels

Basic knowledge of stage production, lighting cues, and music structure

Experience working with international performers is an advantage
