Job Summary:
We're looking for a friendly, energetic, and reliable Full-Time Barista to join our team! As a barista, you'll be the face of our caf-crafting high-quality coffee and beverages, providing excellent customer service, and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for every guest.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based drinks, teas, and specialty drinks
- Follow all recipes and presentation standards consistently
- Operate coffee equipment such as espresso machines, grinders, and brewers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the caf, including workstations, equipment, and customer areas
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed
- Handle card transactions accurately using the POS system
- Engage with customers in a friendly, approachable, and professional manner
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Comply with all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous barista or food service experience preferred (but we're willing to train the right person!)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be punctual, dependable, and a team player
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Food & Hygiene Certificate is a MUST (if you don't have it, company will sponsor the course)
