Job Summary
Deliver abacus-mental arithmetic classes in small groups, motivate students, and maintain proactive communication with parents to support student learning progress.
Responsibilities
- Conduct abacus-mental arithmetic classes in small group settings to enhance students math skills
- Engage and motivate students actively to foster a positive and effective learning environment
- Communicate proactively with parents regarding their child's learning progress and development
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support overall educational goals
- Perform additional duties as assigned by immediate supervisor to support centre operations
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma holder
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin with parents
- Passion for teaching and working with children
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team player
- Availability to work weekday evenings and weekends
- No prior experience required
