Job Summary

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of secure, scalable full-stack applications. Drive engineering best practices, mentor developers, and implement AI-assisted development to enhance software quality and team capability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-quality full-stack applications across frontend and backend environments
• Establish and promote software engineering standards and best practices, including code quality, testing, security, CI/CD, and production readiness
• Conduct technical and code reviews to improve software quality, maintainability, and developer productivity
• Drive adoption of AI-DLC practices, implementing appropriate guardrails for AI-assisted development throughout the software development lifecycle
• Develop reusable engineering guidelines, patterns, and quality gates to ensure consistency across development teams
• Mentor developers and facilitate technical knowledge sharing to enhance engineering capability and maturity

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline
• Strong hands-on experience in full-stack development
• Strong knowledge of software design, Git, automated testing, CI/CD, and secure development practices
• Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, and application observability
• Demonstrated experience in technical leadership, engineering best-practice adoption, and developer mentoring
• Practical experience with AI-assisted software development and AI-DLC practices
• Hands-on experience with AWS, GitLab CI/CD, and Kubernetes/EKS
• Experience implementing automated engineering quality or security gates within CI/CD pipelines
