Full Stack Engineer

NOVI Health is a fast-growing health tech start-up based in Singapore reimagining the way care for chronic disease is delivered. Run by a team of dynamic individuals with a passion to improve healthcare, we're positively changing the way healthcare is delivered by integrating traditional medical practice with consumer tech - providing a full-stack health solution that combines medical care, fitness and diet coaching, together with continuous glucose monitoring and support.

As we continue to scale, we are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join our team in Singapore.
Role Overview

In this role, you will have end-to-end ownership of features-from designing responsive UI components to architecting scalable backend services and managing cloud deployments. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who enjoys bridging the gap between user experience and system performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Feature Development: Design and build robust, high-performance web applications using modern frameworks (e.g., React/Next.js, Node.js, or Go).

• API & Systems Design: Develop and maintain secure RESTful or GraphQL APIs and integrate third-party services.

• Database Management: Design efficient data models and manage SQL (PostgreSQL) or NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis) databases.

• Cloud & DevOps: Own the deployment pipeline using CI/CD tools and manage containerized applications (Docker/Kubernetes) on AWS or Azure.

• Quality & Mentorship: Write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive unit/integration tests and participate in peer code reviews.

Technical Requirements

• Frontend: Proficiency in TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frameworks (React, Vue, or Svelte).

• Backend: Strong experience in Node.js, Python (FastAPI/Django), or Go.

• Databases: Experience with relational databases and caching layers (Redis).

• DevOps: Familiarity with cloud-native workflows, GitHub Actions, and containerization.

Qualifications

• 5+ year of professional experience in full-stack software development.

• Strong understanding of web security best practices (OAuth, JWT, OWASP).

• Excellent communication skills and an owner mindset.
