SimplifyNext is a Singapore-headquartered digital engineering firm, with offices in Thailand and Malaysia, working across three converged areas: agentic AI, AI-enabled application modernisation, and intelligent automation.

We bring strong business process consulting together with deep technology skills and modern delivery practices – product-centric, agile and AI-assisted. We build bespoke applications and AI systems, and we go deep on the platforms our clients run on, including Microsoft, AWS, ServiceNow, Databricks and UiPath. What you'll do

• Build and own backend services and frontend interfaces – from the API and business logic all the way through to what the user actually sees
• Take features from 0 to 1 when there's nothing there yet, and confidently improve systems that already exist
• Build the integration layer that lets different systems – and in some projects, different business units / organizations – talk to each other and share data reliably
• Take real ownership through deployment and monitoring – not just write code and hand it off
• Work closely with PMs, designers, BAs, and QA to turn requirements into shipped, tested, working software

What we're looking for

• We're hiring across levels – from around 3 years to 8+ years of experience. Depending on your depth in the areas below, tell us where you land and we will match you to the right level of role
• Strong full-stack ability, with real depth in at least one of:
• Backend: Kotlin, Golang, or similar
• Frontend: Next.js, React, or similar
• A track record of building and owning systems end-to-end, not just contributing to them
• Solid coding fundamentals – you can write and reason about production code independently, without needing an AI assistant to do the thinking for you
• Comfortable digging into legacy systems and making them better, not just building new things
• Experience with Git, microservices, event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ), containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with cloud environments and modern DevOps practices

Nice to have

• Experience in government environments and familiarity with government tech stack, if not you will learn with us
• Exposure to data integration patterns across multiple systems
• You use AI coding tools (it is the present and the future) – not as a crutch, but thoughtfully to move faster
