Full Stack Engineer (Python, React)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join our Investment Platform team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications that support investment solutions. You will work closely with Machine Learning Engineers, Data Engineers, Product Managers, and Software Engineers to build high-performance applications while leveraging modern cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications for the Investment Platform.
• Build responsive, scalable, and user-friendly frontend applications using ReactJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Develop robust backend services and APIs using Python.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize applications on AWS Cloud using cloud-native services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Machine Learning Engineers, Data Engineers, Product Managers, and Subject Matter Experts, to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application and data pipeline testing, deployment, and release processes.
• Containerize applications using Docker to ensure consistency across development and production environments.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following software engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, code reviews, and retrospectives.

Essential Skills & Knowledge

• Strong proficiency in ReactJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript for frontend development.
• Strong backend development experience using Python.
• Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized application development.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins.
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs and modern software architecture.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to software quality and performance.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in full-stack software development.
• Proven experience working within cross-functional teams comprising Machine Learning Engineers, Data Engineers, Software Engineers, Product Managers, and Subject Matter Experts.
• Strong hands-on experience with ReactJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python.
• Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
• Experience deploying applications on AWS Cloud.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
