About the Job
- Champion Global Tech Deliveries: Collaborate closely with our international tech centers and business leaders to launch next-generation features and lead high-impact system overhauls.
- Design Scalable Architecture: Translate intricate business requirements into clean, high-performance, and resilient software solutions that solve real-world problems.
- Engineer from the Ground Up: Play a pivotal role in modernizing our internal tech stack—developing custom automation tools, advanced data reporting platforms, and proprietary ecosystems.
- Drive Technical Excellence: Take ownership of system blueprints, ensuring all architecture, workflows, and technical documentation are perfectly primed for future expansion.
Skills and Requirements
- Education: A Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, or an equivalent technical discipline.
- Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on software engineering experience, preferably within a fast-moving tech or FinTech environment.
- Mandarin speaking required as you need to liaise with Chinese counterparts who can only speak and write in Mandarin.
- Industry Edge: Previous exposure to the banking, capital markets, or financial services sector is highly advantageous.
- Tech Stack Mastery: Deep backend expertise in Python and Java, complemented by frontend fluency in modern frameworks like React.js and Vue.js.
- Mindset: While having a specialty is great, true full-stack enthusiasts who love owning the entire lifecycle of end-to-end development will thrive here.
- The Essentials: Solid command of relational databases, seamless API integrations, and modern version control practices.
