About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer with experience in geospatial solutions, cloud-native development, and legacy system integration. You will be responsible for designing and developing scalable web and mobile applications, building robust APIs, and ensuring seamless integration across systems.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Mapbox SDK (or other geospatial platforms), frontend and backend frameworks, and is comfortable working in Government on Commercial Cloud (GCC) or other secure cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Application Development
- Design, develop, and maintain web and mobile applications with a focus on scalability, performance, and security.
- Integrate Mapbox SDK (or other geospatial APIs) to deliver location-based features.
- Work on legacy codebases and databases, refactoring and modernizing as needed.
- Frontend Engineering
- Build intuitive and responsive UIs using JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks such as React.js, Next.js, Vue.js, Angular, or Svelte.
- Ensure high-quality mobile app experiences using Swift (iOS), Kotlin (Android), or React Native.
- Collaborate with designers to translate wireframes and prototypes (e.g., Figma) into functional features.
- Backend Engineering
- Develop scalable APIs using Node.js, Express.js, Next.js, Ruby on Rails, Java/Kotlin (Spring Boot), Python (Django/Flask/FastAPI), or GoLang.
- Implement RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and gRPC for service-to-service communication.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases, ensuring efficient queries and optimized schemas.
- Cloud & DevOps
- Deploy and maintain applications on GCC or commercial cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Follow CI/CD best practices and participate in code reviews to maintain engineering standards.
- Ensure application security, compliance, and monitoring in line with industry best practices.
- Collaboration
- Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and cross-functional teams.
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure timely deliver
