Role Description The Full-Stack Engineer (Artificial Intelligence) will design, build, and maintain end-to-end web applications that power Anzu's clinical intelligence workflows. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing scalable back-end services and APIs, developing secure data integrations, and optimizing databases for performance and reliability in healthcare environments. The role also involves building responsive, accessible front-end interfaces, collaborating closely with product, clinical, and data teams to translate complex workflows into intuitive user experiences, and ensuring robust testing, monitoring, and documentation. The engineer will work with AI-driven features, integrating models into production systems and supporting continuous improvement of Anzu's decision-support capabilities. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater Johor Bahru.
Qualifications

Strong back-end web development skills, including Back-End Web Development and Software Development, with experience in building secure, scalable APIs and services.
Front-end expertise in Front-End Development and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), with a focus on responsive design, accessibility, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
Proficiency in Full-Stack Development, integrating front-end and back-end components into cohesive, production-ready applications.
Experience deploying and maintaining applications in cloud or containerized environments, with solid understanding of CI/CD, testing, and observability tools.
Familiarity with integrating AI or machine learning models into production systems, and working with data pipelines or clinical data structures is a strong advantage.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and work in a fast-paced healthcare startup environment.
Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) or previous healthtech experience is beneficial.
