Full Stack Developer

As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions that support Swisslog's product portfolio for both manual and automated systems. Working within a technical team, you will participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and system design to implementation, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement. The role requires developing reliable, scalable, and high-performing applications while adhering to Swisslog's standards, best practices, and development methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop, and maintain software solutions based on project and business requirements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and development artifacts.
• Execute software testing activities and ensure solutions meet customer requirements and quality standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying defects, recommending solutions, and promoting development best practices.
• Design scalable and maintainable software architectures using modern development principles and design patterns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Support the full software development lifecycle, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability of applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong expertise in Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), including design patterns.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with frontend technologies and UI development (Angular, RxJS, CSS/SCSS/SASS/LESS preferred).
• Experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of AI solutions, including chatbots and predictive AI.
• Familiarity with Kafka, Elasticsearch, and real-time application development.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and T-SQL.
• Ability to design system architectures and technical specifications from functional requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Self-driven learner with the ability to quickly acquire and master new technologies.
