Full Stack AI Engineer (NextJs/Vercel)

Kaishi is currently working with an early-stage AI startup building a platform that deploys specialized agents across multiple digital channels -helping businesses automate growth, content, and engagement at scale.

The product is already being used to manageworkflows across platforms like search, social, and content - replacing what traditionally requires an entire marketing team.

They're a small, fast-moving team with strong product momentum and ambitious plans ahead.

The Role

We're hiring an early-career engineer to help build and scale a multi-agent AI platform.
You'll work directly with the founding team across both frontend and backend - contributing to agent workflows, integrations, and user-facing features.
This is a high-learning, high-impact role with exposure to AI systems, real-world scale, and startup execution.

What You'll Do

- Build product features across frontend (Next.js / React) and backend services

- Integrate with third-party APIs (e.g.search, social platforms, external data sources)

- Support development of agent workflows(task execution, sequencing, retries)

- Work on background job systems (queues,schedulers, async processing)

- Contribute to handling and structuring large volumes of data

- Improve system performance, reliability,and debugging processes

- Help build and enhance the user dashboard for configuring and monitoring workflows

- Collaborate closely with founders in a fast iteration cycle

What We're Looking For

- 2-3 years of experience building andshipping web applications

- Comfortable with TypeScript / JavaScript

- Experience with React / Next.js/ Vercel ecosystem

- Basic backend knowledge - APIs, databases, and async workflows

- Experience working with external APIs or integrations

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment

Nice to Have

- Exposure to job queues, cron jobs, or event-driven systems

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Vercel, etc.)

- Interest in or exposure to AI / LLM-based applications

- Prior experience in a startup or small, high-ownership team
