Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer with strong React expertise to build and maintain high-quality web applications within our banking platform. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of React, TypeScript, modern frontend architecture, and UI/UX best practices. You should be comfortable solving complex technical challenges in enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop modern frontend applications using React 18+, TypeScript, and Redux.
- Build scalable and maintainable UI architecture utilizing React Hooks, Context, Routing, and Suspense.
- Translate business and system requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Analyse and resolve complex legacy issues and production defects.
- Ensure compliance with code quality, security, and performance standards.
- Collaborate with product owners, designers, and engineers in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Participate in the design, development, testing, and deployment of enterprise applications.
- Investigate and resolve production incidents to maintain system stability.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of frontend architecture, tools, and development practices.
Must Have
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience in front-end development, with at least 4 years in React development experience.
- Exposure to the Banking/Fintech domain.
- Strong frontend development experience with React 18+, TypeScript, Hooks, Context, Routing, Suspense, and state management (e.g., Redux).
- Strong CSS skills and attention to UI/UX quality.
- Solid computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and system design.
- Familiarity with development tools such as Visual Studio Code and Chrome DevTools.
- Basic knowledge of Linux shell commands.
- Experience with Git and DevOps workflows.

- Experience with micro-frontends using Module Federation.
- Web Components development.
- Advanced CSS architecture and optimization.
