About the Role
Our client is a leading global financial technology platform serving millions of users worldwide. They are seeking a Engineering Manager to own the frontend delivery across core fintech business verticals including trading systems, digital wallets, and payment solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the frontend engineering team across core business verticals, managing hiring, development processes, and technical pipeline building
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with Product, Backend, Security, and Compliance teams to deliver complex trading and payment features
- Own technical design and delivery for critical user-facing systems including trading interfaces, wallet management, AI-powered trading tools, and payment gateway integrations
- Establish engineering quality standards and technical risk management frameworks for financial security contexts including private key protection and compliance auditing
- Integrate AI capabilities into product decisions and technical architecture, leveraging modern AI paradigms to enhance user experience and development efficiency
- Build technical and business influence across the organization, communicating effectively with engineers, product managers, and senior leadership
- Participate in industry engagements and technical community building to attract top-tier engineering talent passionate about financial technology and digital innovation
- Guide tech stack evolution and maintain high-performance standards for high-concurrency, high-availability trading environments
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 10+ years of engineering experience including 5+ years managing technical teams
- Deep expertise in frontend technologies including React/Vue internals, performance optimization, and cross-platform solutions, with sufficient backend knowledge for architecture discussions
- Proven experience leading frontend development for products with 1M+ daily active users in high-concurrency environments
- Genuine understanding of digital financial ecosystems including trading platform mechanics, digital wallet technologies, and payment gateway integrations (business requirement for liaising with global fintech partners)
- Strong problem-solving abilities and experience integrating AI capabilities into product development and team workflows (is a bonus)
