Role: Frontend Developer with React

Location: Singapore; Employment Type: Permanent Role

Skills Requirements:

Professional:

Well-organized, prioritize tasks, and meet milestones

Drive projects, influence stakeholders, and overcome challenges

Translate functional requirements to technical solutions

Finance/banking domain experience (preferred)

Technical Must-Haves:

Expert-level React 18+ (85% of project work)

(TypeScript, Routing, Hooks, Context, Suspense)

State management (e.g., Redux)

CSS, UI/UX affinity

Strong computer science fundamentals

Unit and integration testing

Familiarity with Git, DevOps, VS Code, Chrome DevTools

Basic Linux shell scripting

Desirable:

Micro-frontends (Module Federation)

Web Components

Bundler/toolchain expertise (webpack, vite)

Advanced CSS

Key Features of the Position:

Develop and deliver frontend applications using React (TypeScript, Redux, etc.)

Communicate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders

Solve complex legacy defects and drive technical excellence

Collaborate with teams, work in Agile (Scrum)

Analyse requirements, plan, and manage progress

Ensure adherence to bank standards (code, security, performance)

Exposure to Wealth Management systems

Drive technical design, review, and challenge status quo

Regulatory responsibilities and risk management
