Frontend Developer (React) AWS Platform

As part of our AWS Platform improvement program, we are looking for an experienced Frontend Developer with strong React expertise to join our team.

You will play a key role in designing and developing modern, scalable, and user-centric web applications that enhance the capabilities of our cloud platform. You will work closely with backend engineers, UX/UI designers, product teams, and other stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable, and high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain frontend components and modules for our AWS Platform using React and modern JavaScript technologies.

• Collaborate with backend engineers, UX/UI designers, product teams, and other stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.

• Translate functional and technical requirements into clean, maintainable, scalable, and testable code.

• Conduct and participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and frontend development best practices.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.

• Support the integration and delivery of applications through CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.

• Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues to ensure reliable application performance in production.

• Contribute to technical discussions and provide input on frontend architecture and development approaches.

• Keep up to date with emerging frontend technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 4-5 years of professional frontend development experience, with at least 9 years of overall IT experience.

• Strong proficiency in React.js and its ecosystem, including React Hooks and Context API.

• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.

• Experience with modern frontend build tools such as Webpack, Vite, or ESBuild.

• Proficiency with Git and modern version-control practices.

• Good understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.

• Experience with frontend testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Playwright.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience working with AWS services, such as S3, CloudFront, Lambda, and API Gateway.

• Familiarity with micro-frontend architectures, including Module Federation or single-spa.

• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or MobX.

• Experience with UI/UX design and prototyping tools such as Figma.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.

• Experience working in Agile development environments and with tools such as Jira.

• Understanding of frontend security best practices, including XSS and CSRF prevention.

• Experience using AI-assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot or Claude.

• Knowledge of responsive web design and accessibility standards.
