As a Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and deliver high-performance applications supporting Public Security, government, and commercial sectors. You will work on complex system implementations across cloud-enabled environments, contributing to innovative solutions in analytics and AI-driven decision support.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance scalable, secure, and high-performance software systems
- Translate user and system requirements into robust technical solutions
- Write clean, efficient, and testable code aligned with quality standards
- Support system enhancements, configurations, and integration activities
- Integrate software components into fully functional, production-ready systems
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise existing applications
- Perform testing including validation, verification, UAT, and system integration
- Automate workflows and processes using scripting and tools
- Deploy applications and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with project, security, and documentation standards
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience in software development with strong coding fundamentals
- Proficiency in frontend technologies (e.g., ReactJS, JavaScript/TypeScript)
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Exposure to DevOps practices and tools is an advantage
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly
