Job Title: Frontend Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to refine and elaborate user stories.
- Support QA teams with test automation and bug fixing.
- Work with DevOps on build and release automation.
- Design, develop, and deliver high-quality software applications with a focus on customer experience.
- Improve software quality using best practices such as code reviews, unit testing, and XP principles.
- Prepare architectural and technical documentation as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in frontend development using:
HTML, CSS, JavaScript
React, ASP.NET - Strong understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
- Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum development practices.
- Familiarity with UX design best practices and accessibility standards.
- Experience using Google Lighthouse for SEO and accessibility optimization.
- Knowledge of application security tools (e.g., SonarQube, Fortify SCA, WebInspect or equivalents).
- Proficiency in configuration management and version control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket).
- Skilled in JavaScript/browser troubleshooting and debugging techniques.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams.
- Ability to produce clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Passion for continuous learning and adherence to Software Craftsmanship principles.
