Front End Developer Lead

Responsibilities

• Architecture and Technical Direction: Own frontend architecture and technical decisions across our products, and set the standards the team builds to.
• Delivery Ownership: Turn product goals into a technical plan, manage scope and risk, and be accountable for the quality of what ships.
• Team Leadership and Mentorship: Grow the team through mentoring, code review, and hiring.
• AI in Practice: Make AI a default part of how the team builds. Set the practices for working with coding agents, from context to review, and be clear about when not to use them.
• Quality and Guardrails: Hold the bar so that AI-assisted work is reviewed as rigorously as anything else, and own the data, security and quality boundaries.
• Team Capability: Use AI to widen what the team can do on its own, so engineers can take on work that used to need another specialist, and less experienced members can operate at a higher level.
• Collaboration and Communication: Partner with Product, Design and Backend to shape what gets built, not only how it gets built.
• Hands-on Engineering: Stay close to the code on the most critical or complex parts of the product.
