Freight Operation Executive - Air Freight

Job Responsibilities
- Work closely with Air Freight Customer Service to receive and carry out instructions pertaining to inbound shipments, clearance from terminal, and delivery to client.
- Work closely with vendors to provide instructions pertaining to inbound shipments, clearance from terminal, and delivery to client.
- Data entry of shipment information into CW1 from pre-alert documents received from Oversea Agents/ CS team.
- Vet and action the original documents to ensure all necessary documents are in place upon shipment arrival.
- Permit declarations and liaise with CS team for delivery.
- Communicate with other Freight Forwarders to perform clearance of cargo to our warehouse. Update daily shipment report.
- Tally and consolidate all Delivery Orders, thereafter provide to our vendor for next day delivery. Tally and ensure all POD are received from our vendors.
- Provide CS team with the POD for their next course of action.
- Data entry of POD information into CWl and produce physical billing set for CS team.
- Head down to Inbound Terminal (SATS / DNATA) to process documents when required.
- Head down to Inbound Terminal (SATS / DNATA) or Freight Forwarders warehouse to perform cargo survey.
- Working with inter departments to provide assistance in project that company undertake.
- To undertake any other duties as assigned by Air Freight Manager.
