Freelance Translator Simplified Chinese

We are looking for experienced translators and senior linguists language pair English to Simplified Chinese for a longterm collaboration on a largescale international project in cryptocurrency and financial translation. The project has already started and we are expanding our team.

This is a remote opportunity open to applicants from major hubs such as Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, the USA, and Western Europe are welcome to apply.

The content includes finance, cryptocurrencies, digital assets, marketing and promotional materials, MarCom content, software/UI texts, and online trading topics. Work includes MTPE and translation tasks.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience in translation or senior linguist roles

Degree in Translation or Linguistics

Proven experience with finance, cryptocurrencies, digital assets, IT and online trading

Strong expertise in fintech and blockchain terminology; active crypto trading experience is a plus

Excellent English communication skills

Familiarity with glossary/style guide creation and localization workflows

Experience with team communication, query management, or localization team coordination is beneficial

Knowledge of CAT tools

A qualification test (200300 words, financial content) is required.

We prefer freelancers and small groups. Rates are in USD or EUR.
