Position: Freelance/Independent Locum Nurse (Contract for Service)
Salary Range (Hourly): S$23.00 to S$28.00 per hour (based on work experience and qualifications)
Job Overview
We are looking for self-motivated and experienced Locum Registered Nurse (RNs) and Enrolled Nurses (ENs) to join our clinic on a freelance basis. This is an excellent opportunity to gain diverse experience and control your work schedule.
As a Locum Nurse, you will be engaged on a Contract for Service basis, working as an independent contractor to cover short-term manpower needs for our clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform core nursing duties, such as taking vital signs, health screening, wound dressing, medication administration, and nurse counselling.
- Perform clinical procedures, including blood taking, cannulation, and ECG.
- Assist the Doctor and clinical team with patient management and daily clinic operations.
- Maintain accurate patient medical records.
- Uphold high standards of patient care, safety protocols, and clinic cleanliness.
Contract Status and Compensation (Please read carefully):
- Contract type: This is a Contract for Service. You are engaged as a Self-Employed Person (SEP) and are not covered by the Employment Act.
- CPF & Benefits: The hourly rate is all-inclusive. You will not receive employer CPF contributions, paid annual leave, paid sick leave, or other statutory employee benefits.
- Medisave: SEPs who are Singapore Citizens/PRs are personally responsible for making mandatory CPF MediSave contributions in accordance with IRAS requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma/NITEC in Nursing
- Must possess a Valid Registration Certificate from the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB)
- Possess a Valid BCLS + AED Certificate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skiils are required for patient interaction
- Must be able to use computer for patient documentation and administrative tasks
Job Availability:
- Availability Requirement: Must be able to accept assignments for a minimum of 2 weekdays per week
- Core Assignment day: Consistent availability to accept assignments on Saturdays is essential to meet our core clinic operational needs
Opening hours:
- Monday - Friday: 9:00AM to 12:30PM, 2:00PM to 6:00PM
- Saturday: 9:00AM to 1:00PM
- Closed on Sundays and Public Holidays
