Freelance Illustrator

This role involves creating hand-drawn illustrations of three iconic Mirvish theatres in Toronto: the Royal Alexandra Theatre, the CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre, and the CAA Theatre. The illustrations should match the style of an existing drawing of the Princess of Wales Theatre, which will be provided as reference. Each theatre drawing should feature the names of the most recent productions performed by the gift recipient on the theatre marquee. These illustrations are intended as a personalized gift and must be completed by the end of October.

Requirements

• Strong experience in hand-drawn illustration, with an emphasis on architectural or street-view drawings.
• Ability to replicate an existing art style to ensure visual consistency with a provided example.
• Comfortable incorporating personalized elements, such as text on theatre marquees.
• High attention to detail and creative flair to capture the unique character of each theatre.
• Remote availability and ability to complete the project within the specified deadline.
