Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the Telecom discipline during detailed engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning phases.
- Review and approve telecom engineering documents, specifications, datasheets, layouts, cable routing and vendor packages.
- Ensure telecom design and equipment comply with project requirements, international standards, HSE and industry best practices.
- Coordinate with EPC contractors, subcontractors and vendors, including participation in FATs and technical meetings.
- Manage telecom interfaces with other disciplines and monitor engineering progress, quality, schedule and budget.
- Support construction, commissioning, pre-commissioning and punch-list activities when required.
- Engineering degree, preferably specialized in Telecom Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of Oil & Gas experience, with proven FPSO design experience.
- Strong experience in detailed engineering, engineering document review, vendor packages and interface management.
- Experience with FATs, technical bid evaluations and vendor coordination.
- Good knowledge of API, ISO, ASME and other international standards.
- Experience supporting HAZOPs, technical audits and multidisciplinary design reviews.
- Exposure to commissioning/pre-commissioning and system completion.
- Fluent English required; French is an advantage.
