Our client, a publicly listed global technology leader, is seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to lead financial planning, analysis, and regional performance management across its expanding Asia Pacific markets. This is a critical leadership role overseeing a small regional team while partnering closely with country finance leads and business heads to drive financial excellence, operational efficiency, and long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
Regional FP&A Leadership
- Lead the full FP&A cycle for Asia Pacific, including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and performance management.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a regional FP&A team, ensuring strong analytical capability and consistent reporting standards.
- Consolidate regional financials, analyze results, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
Business Performance & Insight
- Provide strategic financial insights to regional leaders, helping shape business priorities, resource allocation, and commercial strategy.
- Conduct detailed financial modelling, scenario planning, and ROI analysis for key initiatives and investments.
- Deliver ongoing analysis on revenue trends, margins, operating costs, and capital expenditure across multiple APAC markets.
Governance & Financial Control
- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment of financial reporting across the region.
- Partner with local finance teams to coordinate month-end close, statutory requirements, and corporate reporting expectations.
- Uphold robust financial controls and regional risk management frameworks.
Process Improvement & Systems Enhancement
- Drive continuous improvement across FP&A processes, reporting efficiency, and business performance dashboards.
- Support automation, standardisation, and data quality initiatives across systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday, BI tools).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA/CA/ACCA preferred.
- 710 years of FP&A experience within a multinational environment.
- Proven team management experience (leading analysts or regional finance teams).
- Strong regional Asia Pacific exposure and comfort working across multiple markets.
- Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills; strong command of BI/analytics tools.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Fluent in English; additional Asian language is an advantage.
- Occasional regional travel required.
