FP&A (Senior Manager)

Our client, a well-established MNC, is introducing a newly created regional finance leadership position to enhance its APAC controlling and performance management framework. The role will oversee regional corporate controlling, serve as a key finance interface with Regional Leadership and Global HQ, and lead cross-market improvement initiatives. The position involves approximately 1520% travel and offers the opportunity to shape regional processes, team ways of working, and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Regional Corporate Controlling

• Lead regional corporate controlling activities, including:
• Regional management reporting
• Regional consolidation
• Forecasting, budgeting, and steering processes
• Serve as the primary finance liaison between APAC, Global HQ, and country finance teams
• Ensure alignment, consistency, and quality of financial reporting across markets

Team Leadership & Guidance

• Lead and guide a regional corporate controlling team
• Provide leadership value-add, coaching, and direction to a team with strong institutional knowledge
• Establish clear structures, priorities, and governance across the regional function

Regional Projects & Business Support

• Provide finance leadership support to regional functions, particularly Supply Chain
• Lead cross-country improvement initiatives and operative projects
• Drive projects from assessment through implementation; transition ownership back to country teams once improvements are embedded

Qualifications

• Background in large MNCs, ideally in regional or global roles
• Strong experience in corporate controlling, regional finance, or FP&A
• Proven experience leading medium-sized, multi-location teams
• Project-driven mindset with the ability to manage ambiguity
• Strong cultural awareness and experience working across APAC markets
