Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Foundry Support Application Engineer based in Singapore. The Foundry Support AE will be responsible for providing support and solutions related to integrated circuit (I.C.) design and manufacturing processes. Daily tasks include troubleshooting production issues, collaborating with internal and external teams, performing detailed analyses, and optimizing workflows. The role involves ensuring adherence to industry standards and providing technical expertise to enhance the productivity and efficiency of foundry operations.

Support foundry customers with PDK, DRC/LVS runs, and tapeout data preparation.

Key Responsibilities

· Run Calibre DRC/LVS checks and compile error reports.

· Assist with basic PDK installation and setup.

· Perform GDSII merge and pre-tapeout checklist verification.

· Log support tickets and track tapeout status.

Requirements

· Diploma in Electronics Engineering or related field.

· Basic understanding of IC layout (transistors, metal layers, vias).

· Familiarity with Linux command line.

· Detail-oriented and able to follow procedures precisely.

Nice to Have

· Exposure to Cadence Virtuoso (internship or coursework).

· Awareness of Calibre or similar verification tools.

On-the-job training in tapeout flows, DRC decks, and layout viewing tools
